Perched above the city, Fortress Hohensalzburg  feels like a storybook come alive and as I walked through its stone corridors, I could almost hear the echoes of centuries past. The views stretch endlessly over the rooftops and mountains, and for a moment I just stood still, soaking in that sense of history and peace.
